本研究旨在探討愛滋專業助人者內外控人格特質、同性戀態度影響助人熱情的情形，主要目的有四項：（一）了解愛滋專業助人者內外控、同性戀態度與助人熱情現狀。（二）了解不同背景變項的愛滋專業助人者的助人熱情差異狀況。（三）探討愛滋專業助人者內外控、同性戀態度與助人熱情的關係。（四）探討愛滋專業助人者內外控、同性戀態度對助人熱情之預測狀況。

　　本研究採用問卷調查法，使用立意抽樣與滾雪球抽樣來邀請愛滋專業助人者填寫「內外控人格特質量表」、「同性戀態度量表」與「助人熱情量表」三量表。共收集65份有效問卷，將之進行編碼後，透過描述性統計、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關與多元逐步迴歸分析等統計分法進行資料分析後，得到以下研究發現：
一、 關於愛滋專業助人者的內外控、同性戀態度與助人熱情之現況
(一) 愛滋專業助人者內外控人格特質量表平均總分為12.33（總分為30分），可知愛滋專業助人者的內外控人格特質普遍傾向內控。
(二) 愛滋專業助人者對同性戀者態度平均分數為4.78（六分量表），顯示愛滋專業助人者對同性戀者偏向接納的態度。
(三) 愛滋專業助人者的和諧性助人熱情平均分數為4.95（六分量表），代表愛滋專業助人者偏向同意自己在助人活動上是擁有的和諧性助人熱情。
(四) 愛滋專業助人者的強迫性助人熱情平均分數為3.74（六分量表），代表愛滋專業助人者稍微不同意自己在助人活動上是擁有強迫性助人熱情。
二、 不同背景變項愛滋專業助人者的助人熱情差異
(一) 不同性別、年齡、教育程度、宗教信仰、工作場域、照護年資的愛滋專業助人者的和諧性助人熱情與強迫性助人熱情無顯著差異。
(二) 主要照護愛滋專業助人者比偶然照護愛滋專業助人者擁有較多的和諧性助人熱情。
三、 助人者內外控與同性戀態度對助人熱情之關係
(一) 愛滋專業助人者的內外控人格特質對和諧性助人熱情與強迫性助人熱情皆未有顯著相關，且未有有效預測力。
(二) 愛滋專業助人者的同性戀態度對和諧性助人熱情有顯著正相關，相關值達0.252，且同性戀態度可正向預測9.9%的和諧性助人熱情。
　　最後，研究者根據本研究結果進行討論，並對愛滋專業助人者及未來研究提出具體建議以供參考。

The purpose of this research was to explore the effects of locus of control and attitude toward homosexuality on help to others passion of AIDS helpers. Sixty-five AIDS helpers completed a survey packet consisting three instruments, and the Help Passion Scale, the Internal-External Locus of Control Scale, the Homosexuality Attitude Scale and background information. Data were analyzed statistically by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The findings of study were as follows:

1. The locus of control of AIDS helpers’ personality tended to be internal (the average is 12.33), their attitude toward homosexuality tended to be accepting(the average is 4.78), and they tended to agree that they were with harmonious help passion(the average is 4.95) but slightly not agree that they were with obsessive help passion(the average is 3.74).
2. No gender, age, degree of education, religion, working place, and caring seniority differences were found on harmonious help passion and obsessive help passionof AIDS helpers. Helpers who focus on PWA were with more harmonious help passion than helpers who help PWA occationally.
3. AIDS helpers’ attitude toward homosexuality were significantly and positively correlated with their harmonious help passion, and it could interpret 9.9% of total variance in harmonious help passion.
Finally, discussions based on the findings and implications were provided for AIDS helpers and future study researchers.
