本研究旨在探究國小教師參與休閒活動之現況，並探討不同背景變項的教師對教師參與休閒活動類型及休閒阻礙類型的影響，最後分析，不同背景變項、休閒阻礙類型對休閒活動類型的預測作用。
本研究以問卷調查研究法為主，研究對象為台北市松山區國小教師為樣本，分別以描述性統計、t-檢定、單因子變異數分析、雪費法事後比較及逐步迴歸分析進行資料處理。研究結果發現：
一、不同背景變項之國小教師在休閒活動參與上達顯著差異：
「性別」、「年齡」、「服務年資」、「婚姻狀況」、「子女數目」、「最小子女年齡」、「家庭收入」不同，其在休閒活動類型上有差異。
二、不同背景變項之國小教師在休閒阻礙上達顯著差異：
「年齡」、「婚姻狀況」、「子女數目」、「最小子女年齡」不同，其在休閒阻礙類型上有差異。
三、背景變項、休閒阻礙類型與休閒活動類型有關：
「個人內在阻礙」、「人際間阻礙」、「性別」、「年齡」、「職務」、「婚姻狀況」、「最小子女年齡」、「家庭收入」等與休閒活動類型有關。

The purpose of this study is to understand the real situation of leisure activities and leisure constraints ,and to understand the relation of elementary school teacher’s personal background varieties ,leisure activities and leisure constraints . Finally, we analyze how background and constraint variables predict leisure participation.
The method of this study is based on the research of questionnaire survey. The subjects are the teachers in Elementary School of Song-Shan District Taipei City. Data are analyzed by statistical methods including descriptive analysis, one-way ANOVA, T-test, F-test, Post hoc test and regression analysis. In result of this study, we have some new findings listed below:

I. The leisure participation can be distinguished in teams of different teachers’ background varieties :
The leisure style can be distinguished from different varieties :teachers’ gender,
age, experience, marriage status, the number of children, the age of the youngest
child, family income.

II. The leisure constraints can be distinguished in teams of different teachers’ background varieties :
The leisure constraint style can be distinguished from different varieties :teachers’ age, marriage status, the number of children, the age of the youngest child.

III. The leisure participation style can be predicted by teacher’s personal
background varieties and leisure constraints.
The leisure participation style can be effectively predicted by these varieties：intrapersonal constraint, interpersonal constraint, teachers’ gender, age, position, marriage status, the age of the youngest child, family income.
