由於發明人在新產品開發上的努力,台灣在國際發明展中表現優異,而發明人亦積極將其產品商品化推展至市場,創造出可觀的價值。然而不同發明人在專利商品化的選擇上其考量因素為何?而專利商品化後的績效為何?
過去對於發明人研究,主要以探討發明歷程、商品化經驗與基本統計分析為主,本研究探討針對不同的發明人,瞭解其選擇商品化之因素,並探討其商品化後之績效。
本研究以經濟部智慧財產局主辦之2007年「台北國際發明暨技術交易展覽會中」之刊載名錄作為樣本,使用郵寄方式寄出217份問卷,有效回收問卷為89份。問卷回收後,利用統計方法進行研究分析,包含有信度分析、獨立樣本t檢定、箱關性分析及迴歸分析等,進行驗證。
經分析資料,研究結論如下:
1、不同背景之發明人,其自行商品化決定的因素有顯著的差異。
2、經濟面向的自行商品化的決定因素指標愈高,其財務指標之績效愈好。
3、非經濟面向的自行商品化的決定因素指標愈高,其非財務指標之績效愈好。
4、自行商品化的決定因素,對於不同背景的發明人之商品化績效之關係具有中介效果。
Due to the efforts from the inventors in mew product development, Taiwan contingent behaves outstandingly in the exhibitions of innovation. The inventors create the considerable value by actively displaying their creativity and releasing their commercialized products into the market. However, what are the key factors in the patent commercialization by different inventors? How is the performance of the patent commercialization?

In the past, the researches on the inventors focused on inventors’ careers, commercialized progress and statistical analyses. The following research mainly aims to discuss the factor of the choice commercialization of different inventors and to explore the performance of the patent commercialization?

We collected data from official directory of Taipei International Invention Show and Technomart 2007 . We sent out 217 surveys and received 89 effective samples. And then we used variously analytic methods, which included reliability analysis, Independent-Sample Test, relativity analysis, and regression analysis to certify the research effectiveness and hypotheses.

The results are as the following:

1.The commercialized decision factor depends on the inventors’ background.
2.The higher Indication of voluntarily commercialized determining factor of economical features targets, the better performance of financial Indicator is.
3.The higher Indication of voluntarily commercialized determining factor of non-economical features targets, the better performance of non-financial Indicator is.
4.Voluntarily commercialized determining factor has mediating effect on the commercial performance to the inventors of the different background.
