無線感測網路上,資料收集是一個重要的應用。目前與其相關之研究,大多著重於週期性的全區資料收集,或是使用者發出詢問才將資料回傳的機制,這些較不適用於動態事件的資料匯集。雖然也有少數探討事件資料匯集的方法,然而其尚未針對動態改變的事件,提出有效的資料彙整與回傳機制。因此,本論文針對無線感測網路上動態改變的事件,設計一套有效率的資料匯集機制。我們的方法主要採用網格架構,並建立資料匯集樹將事件資料傳送至匯集點。在初始建立資料匯集樹架構時便盡量減少多餘的回傳節點,以減少感測點的能量消耗。而在事件產生變動時,又有可因應事件變化的調整機制讓樹架構依然有效率的運作。我們將提出的方法與無線感測網路中的三個資料匯集技術EADA、Dual-Tree-Based和Range Query做比較,模擬結果顯示我們的方法能夠有效的延長網路存活時間,並且在總能量消耗以及overhead皆有良好表現。
Data gathering is an important issue in wireless sensor networks. Most existing proposed schemes focus on periodic data gathering or query-driven data gathering. However, both of them are not suitable for dynamic event data gathering. Although there are several schemes which are designed for event-driven data gathering, but most of them are inefficient for dynamic events. Therefore, we propose an energy efficient event-driven data gathering protocol in wireless sensor networks which focuses on dynamic events. Based on the grid structure, our pro tocol constructs and maintains a data gathering tree to adapt to dynamic events. The energy is preserved by avoiding redundant forwarding nodes to join the data gathering tree. In the dynamic event environment, tree update mechanisms are also presented to ensure the efficiency of the proposed scheme. Finally, we compare our scheme with EADA, Dual-Tree Based, and Range Query. Simulation results show that our scheme has better performances in terms of network lifetime, total energy consumption and overhead.
