本文以Follow-the-leader的概念,設計整合GPS (Global Positioning System)裝置、無線網路技術和數據資料庫衍生的應用系統,將群組隊伍之GPS定位資料即時傳遞並儲存在資料庫中。使用者可快速的透過三者間的互動模式,由電子地圖得知群組的正確位置,使群體關係快速的組織建立,藉此達到群組行進之跟隨設計與路線紀錄的目的。
本文主要將所構思的系統軟體發展出來,完成雛形的軟體與硬體系統整合,進行基礎的功能測試。載具的應用包含汽車、腳踏車與超輕航機,並針對各種載具應用介紹不同的設計方法。
By the general idea: “follow the leader”, a new monitoring concept for motorcade is designed and organized. The system integrates GPS, wireless network technical, GIS map and MySQL database. The member’s position in the same motorcade will be shown on the GIS map in real time. Therefore, the leader and follower’s relationship will be built quickly.
The system architecture and design concept are discussed for different kind of vehicle characteristics. Real world tests are demonstrated and verified in cars, bicycles and even ultra light aircrafts.
