The main purpose of this study is to understand the leadership of private kindergarten directors, and further analyze the leadership that effects organization achievements. First, it is necessary to understand present situations of leadership style and the achievements of organization management. Second, the analyses of different director’s background and different organization are variable situations. Finally, all results of the test between different leadership styles exhibit the influence on achievements of organization management. To accomplish the purpose, the methods introduced by questionnaires and half structure interview. The research was executed by questionnaires, “The Influence on Achievements of Organization Management by Leadership Style of Private Kindergarten Directors,” and interviewed the private kindergarten directors. The samples included 198 private kindergartens in Kao-hsiung city, Kao-hsiung and Ping-tung counties, and retrieved 140 questionnaires with effective recovery rate 71%. After recycling questionnaires, the data was analyzed statistically by description statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe posteriori compared by the use of SPSS 15 for windows. The major results were summarized as follows: 1. The democracy leadership style is generally accepted by directors. 2. In the organization management achievements, “the soft hardware equipment” is the most achieveable.. IV 3. “Age”, “Educational background”, “Assignment form” on different principal and leadership reaches significant variable influences. 4. “Kindergarten scale” on different organization background and organization management reaches significant variable influences. 5. The democracy leadership and the care leadership styles have remarkable promotion to the organization management achievements. In the last part, the researcher, based on the finding, proposes some suggestions for the private kindergarten directors and the future researchers, hoping to benefit the development of preschool education in the future.
