伴隨著資訊科技的進步,微小的無線感測節點功能日益增加,由於節點的功能提升使無線感測網路的運用領域更廣泛、規模更加龐大,也使感測節點與基地台間傳輸距離增加,因而會消耗過多的傳輸電量導致無線感測網路提早死亡。因此,增加基地台的設置是一解決辦法,但傳統的繞送方式無法與設置多重基地台的無線感測網路完全配合。
本論文提出一種將大規模無線感測網路區分成數個子集合的方式再結合現今的繞送方法,來達到延長無線感測網路生存時間的目的。經過效能的模擬與分析,本研究所提出的方法較之前的結果有明顯進步。
Modern technology has made low-cost sensor networks possible. As a result, sensor networks have emerged as an important tool for many applications. The power of sensor nodes comes form their equipped batteries. How to use the limited power to extend the lifetime of the network is crucial in this field. Traditionally, a sensor network uses only one sink to collect data. However, using multiple sinks in a large scale sensor network can increase the lifetime of the network.
In this thesis, we consider the routing problem in large-scale sensor networks with multiple sinks. We propose a simple approach to partition the sensor nodes into three subsets. Sensors in each subset use existing routing scheme to find an energy efficient path to route data to sinks. Simulation results show that the proposed technique significantly enhances the network lifetime.
