Total Pages:96 Name of Institute: National Pingtung University of Science and Technology Name of Department: Department of Mechanical Engineering Date of Graduation: July, 2009 Degree Conferred: Master Name of Student: Chien Jung Lee Adviser: Yi-Hong Lin The Contents of Abstract in this Thesis: The object of this thesis is to design and manufacture the checking gauge of automobile parts manufacture, and the checking gauge must be in line with the requirements of foreign customers examination standard. First of all, we have to understand the manufacture processes of starting motor. Through the information from manufacturing process (ex: product machining drawings) to know what is the important size and features of products to set machining process plan and use the most advantageous of the product process. Then against the machining process to design the specific check gauge for the different location. The note for process to design check gauge include check gauge working condition, interference for Inspect location, easy operating. Those above element can use Autodesk Inventor and 3D model from manufactures to simulation. Beside, how to use the six steps manufacture Checking Gauge is also important in this thesis. At last, examine the Checking Gauge, be sure the measurement data in line with the drawings demand, then actual use to examine products. The results show the allowable to error ranges of regular products are all include by drawings demand, and reduse half of waiting time. In the other hand, this method also solve the problem, the explicit mashine can’t be use to tradition industry manufacturing measuring, and increase the examine frequency, discover wrong-processing and improve process in time to reduce wrong product and processing cost.
