本論文旨在探討在吳郭魚(O. niloticus ×O. aureus)飼料中額外添加輔酵素CoQ10對成長表現及組織中CoQ10累積量的影響。本實驗分別以0、200、400、800、1600及3200 ppm六種不同CoQ10濃度添加量飼料餵飼2公克與9公克兩種體型之吳郭魚90天;為一個 6 x 2 兩重複之複因子試驗。每日餵食體重3%,每十天秤重一次以校正每日飼量。觀察並記錄成長,並採集魚體腦部、鰓、心臟、肝臟、肌肉及血液樣本以分析各組織內CoQ10累積量,再進行統計分析。
結果顯示,CoQ10添加量在400ppm以上時,體型2克之吳郭魚增重百分率與比成長率顯著高於0及200ppm組別。體內各種組織內CoQ10的累積量並未隨著飼料CoQ10添加量之上升而上升。CoQ10在吳郭魚體內累積量排序依序為腦部(126.24 ppm)、心臟(49.87 ppm)、肝臟(46.85 ppm)、鰓(25.39 ppm)、肌肉(10.29 ppm)與血液(2.91 ppm);在CoQ10添加量200ppm以上時,肌肉及血液累積量皆顯著高於沒添加CoQ10的組別。
在養殖成本方面,長期投餵添加CoQ10的飼料來飼養吳郭魚並無法降低養殖成本。餵食CoQ10添加量200ppm飼料的體型2克之吳郭魚組別在實驗開始後第三十天,其養殖成本較未添加CoQ10的控制組來得低。
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of dietary CoQ10 supplementation on the growth performance and CoQ10 deposition in various tissues of tilapia(O. niloticus ×O. aureus). A 6 x 2 factorial experiment with two replicates was held for 90 days. Six dietary CoQ10 levels, 0, 200, 400, 800, 1600 and 3200ppm as the first factor and two sizes of fish, 2g and 9g as the second factor respectively. Feed was fed to fish at a daily ration of 3% body weight. Ration was adjusted every ten day after each intermittent weight measured. The growth data as well as the concentration in brain, gill, heart, liver, muscle and plasma were analyzed statistically.
Values in weight gain and SGR in these fish received CoQ10 level at and beyond 400ppm than those of fish received CoQ10 levels below 200ppm. However, tissues CoQ10 deposition in tilapia did not increase with increasing dietary CoQ10 level. The averaged value of the all treatments of tissue deposition levels from high to low were brain(126.24 ppm), heart(49.87 ppm), liver(46.85 ppm), gill(25.39 ppm), muscle(10.29 ppm) and plasma(2.91 ppm).
Significant higher muscle and plasma CoQ10 deposition values were found in those fish fed CoQ10 levels at and beyond 200ppm than those of the control group.
It was concluded that feeding 2g sized tilapia with a dietary CoQ10 concentration of 200ppm for 30 days could slightly reduced culture cost.
