近年來鋼結構已有逐年增加的趨勢。然而，鋼結構直接暴露於台灣高溫、高濕與高鹽分的腐蝕環境中，鋼結構的防蝕處理為不容忽視的一環。工程界採用的一般熱浸鍍鋅作為鋼結構物的防蝕方法，在沿海鹽害地區或硫害環境似無法達到設計的防蝕效果，故需進一步研發新的防蝕技術。
本研究主要目的為探討熱浸鍍鋅與熱浸鍍5%鋁－鋅鋼材在不同環境中的防蝕效能。試片浸漬於不同溶液中，模擬鋼結構物直接暴露於環境中的腐蝕因子，利用自然腐蝕試驗、電化學試驗、微觀觀察及成份分析等評估其效能。試驗結果顯示在酸性與氯離子環境中，熱浸鍍5%鋁－鋅有較佳的防蝕效能。添加5%鋁有助鍍層表面形成鈍化膜，可有效抵抗氯離子與酸的侵蝕。微觀結構觀察發現熱浸鍍鋁鋅表面的鈍化膜較少裂紋，可提供更完整的防蝕保護，XRD化合物分析結果得知熱浸鍍5%鋁—鋅鋼片的腐蝕生成物除ZnO、Zn(OH)2外，另有Al2O3化合物生成，驗證5%鋁的添加，形成Al2O3緻密氧化層。

The steel structures have been increasingly used in recent years. Steel structures directly exposed to the atmosphere may corrode and result in safety problems. Anti-corrosion of steel structure becomes an important topic, especially in Taiwan with humid and hot climate, characterized as a severe corrosion zone. Hot-dipping galvanized steel has been used on civil structures for long time, but it is found the present technology does not provide enough protection on the steel exposed to chloride-rich or sulfide-rich environments.
The study is aimed to evaluate the anti-corrosion efficiency of hot-dipping galvanized and hot dipping galvanized 5% aluminum-zinc steel in various exposure environments. Specimens are immersed in various solutions which simulate the corrosive environments. Test results illustrate that hot dipping galvanized 5% aluminum-zinc steel displays better anti-corrosion ability under strong acid and chloride-rich environments. Adding 5% aluminum in hot-dipping galvanized steel helps to form oxidative layer that resists the destruction of chloride ion and acid. The micrograph shows the surface of hot-dipping galvanized 5% aluminum-zinc steel has less cracks which provides higher protection. From XRD analysis result, Al2O3 is found on the surface which forms a dense layer to provide extra anti-corrosion effect.
