本論文提出一個針對接觸式影像感測器(Contact Image Sensor, CIS)之QR碼解碼方法,其步驟分為影像前置處理、偵測QR碼準確位置、估算QR碼版本資訊、判斷單一模塊之平均寬度是否足夠、以模塊為單位將QR碼影像進行分割、從定位點附近之區塊擷取版本訊息、比對估算之版本資訊與版本訊息是否相同、二值化模塊之像素值和QR碼之解碼。
因為藉由比對版本資訊與版本訊息來驗證QR碼之版本,再加上將模塊寬度小於三個像素之影像使用 bicubic 內插法進行放大,故能有效降低解碼錯誤率。相較於一般之解碼方法,本論文採用模塊分割的方式比線性掃描的方式較不容易受到QR碼內部之破損干擾,其中利用模塊寬度、定位點位置、模塊切割以減少破損區域外之模塊錯誤。
This thesis proposes and implements a method capable of decoding a QR-code present in a CIS (Contact Image Sensor) image. The method comprises the following steps: image processing; locating and segmenting the QR-code; estimating the QR-code version data; determining if the average width of module is big enough for subsequent computation; partitioning the segmented QR-code into plural modules (number of which is determined by the QR-code version) according to the module size; extracting the corresponding QR-code version information from the modules next to the two finder patterns located diagonally; comparing the estimated QR-code version data with the extracted version information; binarizing the pixels in each module; and finally decoding the QR-code.
Because the method verifies the true version number by comparing the estimated version data and the extracted version information, as well as enlarges modules with width size less than three pixels by using bicubic interpolation, decoding error rate can be reduced effectively. Compared to conventional decoding methods, the proposed method uses module partitioning approach rather than linear line scanning, which is able to prevent the errors in a corrupted module form affecting other modules, making the method more robust to a corrupted QR-code.
