Owing to the economic growth and the implement of two-day-off weekend, it has grown the tendency for our citizens to travel on weekend. Moreover, the abundance of the indigenous culture and history which allure people’s curiosity, the tourists, who visit and explore the indigenous historical park, have constantly increased year by year. The indigenous people have positively begun to cultivate their particular tourism due to the self-consciousness of keeping up their tradition. To improve or maintain the service quality of the indigenous cultural park and to make the tourists satisfied, it is essential to u¬nderstand the tourist viewpoint.
This study confirms the relationship that place attachment (place identity and place dependence) would be predicted by activity involvement (self expression, attraction and centrality). And the result also shows that the experience (sense, feel, think, act and relate) was influence by self expression and attraction of activity involvement. The tourists having high involvement for the aboriginal culture tend to have good experience in Taiwan Indigenous Cultural Park. In addition, the results of this study also confirmed the experience (sense, feel, think, act, and relate) as a mediator between involvement and place attachment (place identity and place dependence). Namely, the involvement influence place attachment through the essential process-experience.
Hopefully, this study may provide the scheme of Taiwan Indig¬e¬nous Cultural Park and the future management stratagem should to increase the experience marketing to attracting tourist to Taiwan Indigenous Cultural Park, which can enhance the tourist place attachment.
