金融的自由化壓縮了銀行的獲利空間，因此消費性金融商品成為銀行創造營收的新業務。而信用卡業務在消費性金融商品中最為消費者所接受，成為各銀行搶攻的業務，信用卡市場的競爭也就愈來愈激烈，銀行要能在信用卡瞬息萬變的商業行為中提升其競爭力並強化客戶服務品質，資訊系統的發展就顯的格外重要。所以在發展信用卡業務系統時就必須更具彈性、靈活度及重用的特性。服務導向架構概念的出現可以使系統輕易的達到上述的特性，但目前服務導向架構的討論及應用範圍仍以開放式系統為主，銀行的核心系統確是封閉式系統。學界、業界對服務導向架構應用於封閉式系統上鮮少有討論。本研究運用服務導向架構以及設計樣式，實際應用於IBM(International Business Machines) AS/400伺服器中之信用卡發卡系統，將原有的信用卡系統功能實作成服務，使封閉式系統也能具備服務導向架構的精神。

The liberalization of banking finance has compressed the profit margin of banks, therefore the financial goods that are being consumed has become the new business where banks generate their income. The credit card business is the most accepted among financial goods by the consumers, and competition in the credit card market has become very fierce in the banking field. As banks improve their competitiveness and strengthen customer service quality in the fast changing conduct of credit card business, it becomes increasingly important that the information system is properly developed. When developing credit card sale systems, it must be focused on flexibility and reliability. The structure of the service-oriented concept can help the system easily accomplish the correct focus mentioned above; however the discussion of the current Service Oriented Architecture and applied area are still mainly focused on open systems and the application area. The core system of banking is still conservative and closed. This close system has been rarely discussed in the business and educational field. This thesis is based on Service Oriented Architecture and Design Patterns, and applying this to the IBM AS/400 server credit card system. Based on this research, one can understand that close system can also have the Service Oriented Architecture.
