隨按即說Push to talk(PTT)服務類似於傳統無線電對講機(walkie-talkie)的半雙工(Half-Duplex)模式運作,提供一對一或一對多的群組通訊服務,當一方說話時,其他人必需聆聽。PTT的特色在於快速建立通話而不用繁雜的撥號程序。根據OMA(Open Mobile Alliance)的分析報告,現今的電信業所提供的隨按即說PoC(Push-to-talk over Cellular)乃是為了提供用戶既節費又方便通話的服務。目前OMA所定的規格中採用主從式(client-server)的架構,由PoC server負責發話權控制的工作。發話權控制(floor control)是當系統中有多位用戶按下通話鍵時,系統決定出哪位使用者取得發話權的機制。但是在分散式無線任意網路(ad-hoc wireless networks)環境中,集中式的架構並不合適。本論文提出一個新的分散式發話權控制方法,稱為LSFC(Last Speaker base Floor Control)。LSFC可以提供合理的連線建立時間並且能減少錯誤播放(wrong play)的機率,提供使用者更佳的服務品質。
Push to Talk (PTT) is similar to half-duplex mode providing one-to-one or one-to-many communication service; others have to listen when someone is talking of traditional walkie-talkie mode. The characteristic of PTT is building communication fast but no complicated dial.
According to the report of OMA (Open Mobile Alliance), PoC (Push-to-talk over Cellular) supported by telecommunication today provides users a saving and convenient service. The standard of OMA is client-server structure, means that PoC server is in charge of floor control, delivering the control to an user as many users wanting to communicate at the same time.
However, central structure is not applicable to ad-hoc wireless networks. This investigation provides a new way of distributed floor control, called LSFC (Last Speaker base Floor Control).
LSFC can build the connection in the reasonable time; reduce the probability of wrong play, and more quality.
