Strategic alliances are an important source of resources, learning, and thereby competitive advantages. Although the increasing importance of the strategic alliances has been discussed widely, little has been done in the literature in examining the relationships among the partnership, organizational learning and the performance satisfaction. Therefore, this study attempts to fill the gap in the literature by providing an integrative research framework through extensive literature review to identify the key determinants and to examine the relationships among these determinants, partnerships interaction, organizational learning mechanism and alliance performance.
The source of samples are from 104 Job Network. According to its classification by industries, the population consists of electronics and manufacturing industries. There are 800 firms randomly sampled and 434 firms having the experince and willing to answer the questionnaire. The response rate is 26.26%. The statistics program for measurement is SPSS, the 17th edition. The key findings of this study include: partnership has a direct effect of on organizational learning. And organizational learning also has an effect on alliance performance.
