隨著科技的進步以及硬體技術的進步,行動裝置的運算能力已經大幅提升,以往只有在桌上型電腦上才能享受到的功能,也漸漸的在行動裝置上被實現,再加上無線網路技術的進步,利用各種無線通訊技術,幾乎在任何時間及地點都可以連上網路,因此網路上各式各樣的網路服務提供者也漸漸的將觸角伸向了小型的行動裝置。
社交網路服務﹝Social Network Service﹞在目前眾多的網路服務當中,不但使用者數量龐大,使用的頻率也相當頻繁,已經成為許多人生活中不可缺的一部分,眾多的社交服務提供者如Facebook、Myspace等,提供了相當多便利的功能幫助使用者快速的分享心情以及交換資訊,但是這些功能大多只侷限於一般桌上型電腦的使用者。
適地性服務(Location Based Service : LBS)是一種依使用者位置為基礎提供的行動服務,因為行動裝置會隨著使用者到處移動的特性,LBS能依照使用者當時位置資訊,提供適當的服務,增加使用者對該服務的接受及滿意度,所以LBS被視為是未來在行動裝置上的殺手級應用之一。
本篇論文提出了一個系統設計與實作,希望在行動裝置上,透過無線通訊網路,提供以使用者位置資訊做輔助的社交網路服務,讓使用者可以隨時隨地滿足社交方面的需求。
With advanced technologies in hardware, computing capabilities on mobile devices have been increased. The functions that people enjoy only in the desktop computer in the past are realized gradually on mobile devices. Coupled with the wireless network technological progress, people could connect to the Internet almost at any time and place. Therefore, lots of network service providers gradually extend their service range to small mobile devices.
Among the current network services, Social Network Service not only attracts a large number of users, but also has high frequency of utilization, and has become an indispensable part of human life. Many social service providers such as Facebook , MySpace, etc., provide a considerable number of convenient services for users to share feelings as well as the rapid exchange of information. However, the operations of the most features are limited to the desktop computer users in general.
Location Based Service (LBS) is a service provided based on user’s current location. At present, a user’s location may be easily obtained through the mobile device carried by him. In accordance with the user location information, LBS could provide many appropriate services with high acceptance and satisfaction. Obviously, it will become as one of the killer applications on mobile devices in the near future.
In this paper, we present the system design and an implementation for the LBS. Our system could provide social network service for the mobile devices based on user’s location information through the wireless communication network, and satisfy user’s need of the community anytime and anywhere.
