Rheumatoid Arthritis簡稱(RA)是一種因自體免疫系統不健全所引發的疾病,早期被誤認為是屬於膠原系統疾病,醫界到目前為止還未能解開其致病的真正原因,類風濕性關節炎主要侵犯的是全身大大小小的關節,而且是對稱性的影響,以手腕、足、膝等關節最常發病,當然偶爾也會侵犯關節的周圍組織或者是身體其他器官,嚴格講起來它是一種全身性的慢性發炎疾病。拜免疫學與分子生物學技術進步神速之賜,近年來用來檢驗引發RA的Rheumatoid factor (RF)的儀器、試劑、分析方法,都不斷推陳出新,本篇使用BNP及Hitachi717兩種不同儀器的定量偵測RF分析方法,再將兩種實驗方法得到的RF值以數值高低取範圍分組與不分組情況作Pearson相關性分析,結果分組不分組皆得到相關係數高達0.998,驗證此次實驗數據無論分不分組並不會影響分析結果,以定量方式驗證兩種設備實驗的數據並無差異的存在,並將BNP及Hitachi717實驗數據之間關係使用直線關係式表示。

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is believed to be an autoimmune disorder. Previous studies have indicated the RA disorder is resulted from the abnormality of collagen system. However, the exact pathogenesis of the disorder has yet to be fully understood. Basically, RA is a systemic and chronic inflammatory event, and even though RA appears to be found in whole body, the joints are the likely target of the disorder. Recent progresses in clinical laboratory have improved the diagnostic capabilities of the disorder and a related component, called Rheumatoid factor (RF), has been identified to be significantly associated with the disorder. However, whether or not the different methodologies used in RA detection will generate various results leading to different diagnosis has not been studied. In this study, two current popular RA detection methods were evaluated. Using the Pearson analysis, a 0.998 of positive correlation between these two different RA measurements have been demonstrated. Furthermore, data acquired from the two different RA detections have also shown a linear correlation. Together all these finding, it was suggested that the current RA detection techniques show strong correlation and reliabilities no matter which method is taken as the diagnosis tool.
