普蘭丁格的宗教認識論為基督教合理性的討論提供了一個新的路徑。他首先回應了經典基礎主義對於基督信仰合理性的批判，而後提出保證的概念，取代了經典基礎主義對於知識的定義，以此來恢復基督教信念的知識地位。在普蘭丁格的改革宗認識論裡，基督信仰具有足夠的保證成為知識，而且不僅是在信念的層面上有其合理性，乃至基督信仰中的情感也是具有保證的。由於他所提出的改革宗認識論模型，結合了分析哲學的認識論與基督信仰的神學，因而引起了廣泛的迴響，不論是在哲學界或是基督教神學界皆有豐富的討論。本文主要探討的便是普蘭丁格如何以他的改革宗認識論，給予基督信仰正面的知識地位，為基督信仰的合理性作出辯護。

Plantinga’s Religious Epistemology offered a new approach to defend the rationality of Christian belief. On the one hand he refused the criticism from classical foundationalism, one the other hand he formulated the theory of warrant instead of justification to restore the position of Christian belief in epistemology. He claimed his model as Reformed Epistemology, from there both belief and affection in Christian faith could be warranted. Since the Reformed Epistemology model he applied is combined of analytical philosophy and Christian theology, it has caused extensive discussions in these two areas. In this article I will discuss how Plantinga developed his model and how he approved the rationality of Christian belief.
