The development of Taiwan''s semiconductor industry has been becoming matured and overcomed communication problems between upstream and downstream industry, grown up a unique style and vertical division work business model in the global semiconductor industry. IC testing which belongs to downstream part of this supply chain is ranked first in the world no matter in OEM capacity or output scale, and for other parts of supply chain are also playing a key role in the world, such as Wafer foundry and IC assembly. However, for the rapidly changing in global market environment, a highly competition on price and quality, IC testing house have to face the pressure of cost control and productivity efficiency improvement. As technology continuously bring the news, the life cycle of products are getting shorter and shorter, in addition to price concern, customer more value in production flexibility, real-time production data return of system and accurate delivery control ability. “Manufacturing Execution System”(MES), implementation of this systematized environment expects to bring the following benefits for firms, lower production cycle time, enhance accurate delivery ability and improve product quality. This study is processed in the framework of “Equipment Management System”(EMS) which is under MES environment to verify and provide the specific improvement plan. For many factors that impact to testing production efficiency in this study, here to focus on Handler DUT Off Rate and correlation run procedure two factors to study the systematized process management and efficiency enhancement of automation production management. By system program controlling, it can save human resource effectively, reduce abnormal operation occurring and increase production efficiency, thus reducing production costs, streamlining business to get better competitive.
