在”A Lossless Watermarking Scheme for Halftone Image Authentication” 這篇文章,作者提出一新的方式,藉由分割區塊(Block)、建立 Lookup Table、更換區塊等方式,將數位簽章資料及Lookup Table嵌入影像中,在取出嵌入資料時可同時將原影像還原,並可認證該影像是否被變動。本文章針對該方法,提出增強嵌入資料後影像品質之改進方式,利用交換像素的方式來產生相似區塊,並計算每個相似區塊之分數,藉以選擇對影像品質影響最小的區塊,來建立Lookup Table,此方式可有效提高嵌入後之影像品質。
Fragile watermarking is a technique can detect any alteration. Pan , Luo and Lu propose a watermark method which embed a digital signature by modifying block into halftone image. In “A Lossless Watermarking Scheme for Halftone Image Authentication” , it used original blocks and similar blocks to construct a lookup table. In this pager, we derive similar blocks by exchanging neighboring pixels and compute similar block’s “Score” to select the best similar blocks for generating the lookup table. This method increases the visual quality of embedded image.
