本研究針對臺灣東北部龜山島海域產三線雞魚(Parapristipoma trilineatum)之漁業生物學進行研究。採樣期間從2008年9月至2009年9月止共計採得樣本637尾,含雄魚317尾,雌魚320尾。樣本尾叉長範圍在12.7-47.8 cm,體重在31.10-1664.04 g間。本種體長(FL)體重(BW)關係式經檢定無顯著差異,並以BW=0.0234FL2.8798表示。本種生殖期在2-6月間,最小性成熟體長(FL)雌魚為22 cm,雄魚為18 cm左右,最小性成熟年齡雌魚為1.1歲,雄魚為0.4歲;本種孕卵數在16,695- 516,877粒之間,平均為292,649 ± 242,118粒,而產卵數約在3,828- 115,702粒之間,平均為52,940±37,730粒。本種性比除1月及4月外,其餘月份並無顯著差異。本種肥滿度週期較不明顯,但無論雌雄大致仍以生殖過後之7~8月份相對較高;肝臟指數無論雌雄皆於生殖期間之3~6月較高,其後開始下降,內臟指數亦在生殖後之7~8月明顯上升,並在冬季降至最低;此等週期變化顯示,本種生殖期間能量可能主要來自持續不斷的攝食及肝臟與內臟。本種耳石輪紋一年形成一輪,雌魚及雄魚之輪紋數最高分別可讀至9及21輪,族群年齡結構以0~2歲為主。而以非線性法所估算而得之von Bertalanffy成長方程式,以尾叉長(cm)表示為Lt =36.4(1-e-0.7823 (t+0.2799) );而以體重表示則為Wt = 730.2 (1-e-0.7823 (t+0.2799) )2.8798。本研究結果也將與日本水域做一比較,以了解不同緯度別地理環境差異之影響。

Fisheries biology of Parapristipoma trilineatum in surrounding waters of Guei-San Island, northeastern Taiwan were examined based on samples collected from Sept. 2008 to Sept. 2009. In total, 637 samples including 317 females and 320 males were collected. Size of samples ranged from 12.7 to 47.8 cm in fork length, and 31.10 to 1664.04 g in body weight. There was no difference found in body weight-fork length relationships for both sexes. The combined equation is BW=0.0234FL2.8798. The spawning season of P. trilineatum was from Feb. to Jun. The size at first maturity for female was 22 cm, and was 18 cm for male. The age at first maturity for female was 1.1, and was 0.4 for male. The fecundity estimated ranged from 16,695 to 516,877, and averaged at 292,649, while the batch fecundity was estimated to be from 3,828 to 115,702, with an average of 52,490. There were no differences found in sex ratio for most months except for Jan. and Mar. The seasonal variation in condition factor (CF) of P. trilineatum was less evident for both sexes except for July-Aug. period when values were higher. The hepatosomatic index (HSI) for both sex however, increased during the spawning season, and dropped to low value thereafter. The visceral index (VI) also increased significantly during July-Aug. period, remained high during the fall and dropped to the lowest value in next winter. These results indicated that energy required for spawning of P. trilineatum may derived mainly from continue feeding, liver and visceral tissue. The ring formation was found once per year. The oldest age of female and male fish was 9 and 21 years, respectively. The population was dominated by age 0 to 2 fishes. The von Bertalanffy growth equations derived from non-liner method were Lt =36.4(1-e-0.7823 (t+0.2799) ) in length, and Wt = 730.2 (1-e-0.7823 (t+0.2799) )2.8798 in weight. The results obtained here were also compared with studies conducted in Japan for understanding the influences of geographical variation.
