車用資訊娛樂系統為車用電腦運用的一部分,為提升汽車產業與交通運輸業發展的加值服務。本研究針對車用資訊娛樂系統的使用經驗高低與觸控螢幕的介面型式進行研究,目的為找出使用性與滿意度較佳的介面設計因素,並朝向降低使用經驗差異的方向進行。
本研究之實驗分為兩階段:(1) 現有車用資訊娛樂系統介面喜好與使用性調查;(2) 模擬介面設計與驗證實驗,透過驗證實驗了解使用者對於介面的操作性與滿意度回饋。
驗證實驗以二種使用經驗高低(獨立因子)與三種介面型式(相依因子)的雙因子混合實驗設計方式進行。「使用經驗」之變項共有二層級:(a)使用經驗低者:無使用經驗者與幾乎沒有使用經驗者;(b)使用經驗高者:除上述之使用經驗低者之外的使用者。而「介面型式」分為三層級:(a)條列式選單:意指以條列方式為主的選單設計型式;(b)棋盤式選單:以棋盤式排列,並提供圖像預覽的選單設計型式;(c)轉盤式選單:以轉盤型式排列所有選項,並在轉盤上方提供較大的圖像預覽。透過實驗可獲得操作績效、系統使用性、介面互動滿意度與使用者綜合感受之結果。
研究結果如下:(1)以七吋觸控螢幕而言,簡化頁面資訊比簡化介面階層容易提升操作績效;(2)相關資訊產品的操作邏輯可幫助使用者操作介面;(3)「使用經驗高低」對於三組介面設計的操作與感受並未產生明顯差異;(4)「棋盤式選單」為使用性與滿意度較高的介面型式;(5)使用者對於介面的滿意度與操作績效的結果一致,顯示車用資訊娛樂系統的使用性為使用者感受的主要考量。

In-vehicle infotainment system is a kind of computer application, providing real-time information and entertainment services to promote the development of auto industry and transportation. This study is intended to investigate the style of touch screen menu and the effect of user experience level, attempts to find interface design factors to enhance usability and satisfaction, and towards reducing differences of user experience.
The experiment in this study includes two stages: (1) The investigation of style preference and usability of current In-vehicle infotainment system. (2) Menu design and validation experiment, to understand operating performance and analyze satisfaction feedback.
The experiment was planned based on a 2 (levels of user experience) by 3 (touch screen menu styles) two-way ANOVA design. There are two levels in the independent variable of user experience: (a) Low user experience: Never or seldom use in-vehicle infotainment system. (b) High user experience: In addition to users with low experience. There are three levels in the independent variable of touch screen menu style: (a) Column menu: Options listing in single column. (b) Icon menu: Users can preview the options, organized in a 3x2 grid. (c) Rotary menu: All options are arranged on the turntable, and the image preview is shown above it. Based on the experiment, the results regarding user task performance, questionnaire for user interface satisfaction (QUIS), system usability scale (SUS), and user experience can be obtained.
The generated results indicated that (1) On the 7-inch touch screen, simplify information on the screen can enhance operational performance easily than simplify menu layers. (2) The logic of using related products, such as PND and mobile phone will be used to operate in-vehicle infotainment system. (3) In the validation experiment, “User experience level” has not had the significant difference in usability and satisfaction for three menu styles. (4) “Icon menu” performs the best in most of the test and survey. (5) User interface for satisfaction and operating performance are consist, show the usability of in-vehicle infotainment system is the main considerations for users.
