The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects, caused by the read-aloud technique, of reading attitude and comprehension for second-graders. In this research, two groups of students, each of which was composed of 30 students, were participated in an experiment. The experimental duration was 12 weeks, four days a week, and 10 minutes for each day. The control group received generic reading classes, while the experimental group’s classes were given by applying the indicated technique during the course of the experiment. Experimental results show that, according to reading comprehension scores from Reading Comprehension Test and attitudes scores from the Elementary Reading Attitude Survey, positive changes in their attitudes toward reading and their reading comprehension as far as the experimental group is concerned.
