Abstract
Objective of Research Study: The purpose of this study is to inquire the effects of excite entertainment facility on the heart rate variability and respiration exchange rate for testees of different lifestyles. Methods: This study took 45 persons as study testees. They were intentionally sorted into 3 groups, namely, sedentary lifestyle group, regular exerciser group, and sport athlete group. They were sent to ride in excite entertainment facility, “Flying Machine”, in theme park Janhusan Fancy World. This study will help to understand the effects of excite entertainment facility on the heart rate variability and respiration exchange rate for testees of different lifestyles. Through statistical analysis and comparison, the results were obtained as listed below: (1) under resting status, comparisons among testees in each group were made for the heart rate and respiration exchange rate. No matter whether it was compared between time domain analysis indices, frequency domain analysis indices, or re spiration exchange rate, no significant differences existed among different groups. (2) During the rides in excite entertainment facility, again comparisons among testees in each group were made for the heart rate and respiration exchange rate. In heart rate variability time domain portion, HR, RMSSD and PNN50%, results obtained were significantly different, with p<.05. In frequency domain portion, indices such as LF, HF, TP, LF%, HF% and LF/HF etc., results obtained were significantly different, with p<.05. But there was no significant difference in respiration exchange rate. (3) After the rides in excite entertainment facility and at the recovery period, again comparisons among testees in each group were made for the heart rate and respiration exchange rate. The HR and HF portion among each group were significantly different, with p<.05. In other time domain indices, frequency domain indices, and respiration exchange rate, there were no significant differences. According to the experimental results, we have obtained the following conclusion for this study: can improve the status of heart autonomous nerve activity regulation during resting and during their rides in excite entertainment facility Especially in the athletes group with specialized sport training, the improvement effects were better.

Key words: Excite entertainment facility, autonomous nervous system, heartbeat interval, respiration exchange rate
