Abstract Owing to the character of the students in middle and primary schools is not educated so good as before and the the Grade 1-9 Curriculun emphasizes ability instead of moral now, the researcher designs a series of classic courses based on " Analects of Confucius " to apply to the students of sixth of grade who are also the pupils of the researcher. This research adopts the way of the action research to perform the classic education. It is quite handy for the researcher to teach the pupils classic literature independently. The classic course which the researcher designs is according to abilities, interests, and the learning demands of the students. It can be divided into three major shafts which are the life and image of Confucius, the learning of Confucius, and the morality training of Confucius. The researcher plans to carry on teaching in eleven units. Let the students understand the motive of the teacher through combining the content of courses with actual life. Make them Learn from others' advantages, correct their shortcomings, and try their best to show filial obedience in daily life. This research takes the diversified ways to design the teaching methods in order to improve students' interests of studying classic learning. For example the contest by dividing into groups, the multimedia video (the cartoon of Confucius biography, programs of YOYO TV ,and so on), popular songs(like the songs of famous Taiwanese singers Chiang hui, Hsiao huang-chi, and so on), and the drama performances, etc., to improve the results of learning for students in the serious classic course. The conclusions obtained in this research are as follows: 1.make students know Confucius (the Best Teacher;The Most Sage Venerated Late Teacher) and his virtuous disciples with teaching. 2.make students find out the importance of actively studious learning with teaching. 3. let students understand the great attitude and method of study with teaching. 4.enable students realize the intensions of morality training in " Analects of Confucius " with teaching. 5.allow students get acquainted with ideal personality in " Analects of Confucius " with classic teaching -Gentleman. Finally, to offer some suggestions for future researches based on the results of this research. Be the reference that implements classic teaching for other teachers and follow-up researchers.
