本研究目的在於發展出一種新一代的外科手術用橡膠手套,具有易於套入、吸汗水等功能。
本研究分成配方和製程二部分進行,在塗佈配方方面,以合作廠商所研發出的專利配方水膠為吸水主成分,並且以此配方為主進而往摩擦力、黏著性、彈性、吸水性、塗佈均勻性這五個特質為目標進行改良。在增進其黏著性方面,本研究尋找出合適且具有彈性之黏著劑,使水膠層可以黏著於橡皮手套內層,吸水性部分則以聚丙烯酸鈉為主要材料,平均每公克水膠約吸生理食鹽水2 g。
至於塗佈製程方面,本研究特別訂做一適合手套幾何形狀塗佈之浸沾(+旋轉)塗佈機,以有效進行塗佈及乾燥,從實驗中可以發現,塗佈速度越快塗佈上去之水膠厚度越厚;塗液的黏度越大,塗佈的厚度也會越厚,而且手套邊緣處厚度會稍微比中間處厚。
