在H.264/AVC壓縮標準,影像壓縮後可在現有頻寬中即時撥放。然而影像封包在網路上傳輸容易受到碰撞、延遲或遺失影響而造成解碼後的影像區塊產生錯誤或遺失,如此反而使得利用前後影像高相似性所達到高壓縮率的編碼方式會造成錯誤傳遞,影像品質因而下降。因此,利用錯誤隱匿技術於影像傳輸時修補毀損資訊,以壓縮後空間域及時間域的高關聯性,在解碼端做錯誤隱匿使影像呈現良好的畫質。本文利用影像銳化方式找出各個欲修復影像區塊的外邊界特性,藉由加入賽局理論帶來一個新的錯誤隱匿架構,並引用多種不同的修補方式試圖達到最佳的峰值信噪比 (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio)。實驗結果顯示本文所提出的錯誤隱匿架構有良好視覺品質及PSNR值。
In the H.264/AVC video codec, a compressed video can be displayed in a real-time channel. The transmission for the video packet may suffer from collision, delay, or loss. There will be some error or lost macro blocks (MBs) in the decoded frame, and these blocks will cause a series of error propagation and low quality in the next decoded frame. To use high correlation between spatial and temporal domains, error concealment is a well-known technique used by the decoder to recover the corrupted or lost information and to prevent from error propagation in the next frame.
In this paper, we use image sharpening filter to find the characteristic of a MB and adopt various error concealment methods to conceal the MB adaptively. The game theory is a good tool that helps us select the optimal solution to increase the visual quality and PSNR of the decoded frame. The simulation shows good performance of the proposed error concealment schema.
