Military village is one of the most important issues to promote cultural preservation, in addition to media artists, one of the Taichung military village attracts a large number of tourists due to painting, and makes the abolition of voices everywhere. Findings suggested that different types of tourists are significantly different on feeling military villages’ elements. The tourists in original Military Village are elder, re-visit highly and most of them are multicultural groups. Besides, Furthermore, the potrait and bronze of Chiang Kai-shek are important but not necessarily. Most of the Rainbow Military Village’s tourists are student and the main reason come to visit is introduced by the media or friends. “The political group” of tourists in general feeling the image as iconic authenticity,” the symbol group” of tourists was indicative indexical authenticity, “the painting group”of tourists are lesser extent by the perception of authenticity. Furthermore, the tourists assessment that the iconic and indexical authenticity as an "evidence" or "link with the past" are also significant difference. The iconicity with fiction will have different feelings on different sites, and iconic authenticity seem as an “evidence’, indexical authenticity can be seem as "link to the past."
