企業為求永續成長、擴大其規模及觸角,進而發展新創事業。而企業內部的創業活動非單一個人即可完成,需要團隊成員相互並肩作戰;本研究探討企業內部新創事業團隊在母公司發掘的創業機會、並擁有足夠的創業資源的條件下,隨著創業階段不同,創業團隊成員流動產生組成特性變化,以及此變化可能對創業績效的影響。本研究以質性之個案研究法,選擇四個企業內部新創事業為研究對象,訪談對象皆為新創事業團隊領導人或核心人員;根據過去學者在創業階段上的分類,受訪之新創事業團隊創業階段分為種子期與創建期,可據此了解團隊特性的變化及創業績效。在團隊多樣化的表現上,產業知識門檻越高,團隊多樣化的程度越低,新創事業的營運範疇越大,團隊多樣化程度越高;種子期與創建期所需人才不同,影響團隊多樣化程度;而過去的相關的工作經驗、創業經驗對新事業發展有加分的作用。新創事業發展多遵循母公司既有訂定的規則,可能(1)新創事業組織架構較小、(2)跨產業、領域發展等因素,呈現母子之間規章制度適配度的問題。且新創事業起初規模較小,其各部門常須相互協調,若彼此信任程度高,則績效表現較好。新創事業所需的投資金額高、母公司是否了解跨領域發展的想法與作法、母公司是否信任新創事業的領導人,以及新創事業本身所掌握的技術、人脈,皆影響其自主性程度的高低。新創事業領導者的領導風格、母公司的整體企業文化影響賦權程度。隨著時間發展,尚未共事過的成員逐漸熟悉,團隊熟悉可能會影響團隊信任的建立;團隊信任越高,賦權越高。在不同創業階段,母公司投入資金的多寡不同;起初可能較寬鬆,但隨著表現未如預期快速而緊縮銀根。而新創事業所提供的產品服務是否能與競爭者競爭影響績效表現。此六個特性與其他因素,影響新創事業發展績效。
To pursue sustainable growth, corporate engages in developing new business. Developing new business do need team members’ efforts rather than individuals. This study explores how corporate ventures’ team characteristics vary with the process under the sufficient resource and identifies opportunities that parent companies provide. The study choose four corporate venture teams and the authored interview the team leader or core member. Take reference to the literature in the entrepreneurial area, the study focuses the team characteristic variation between seed stage and start-up stage. When new business need more professional industry knowledge, the lower level of team diversity New businesses created in the larger scope of operation, the higher level of team diversity. The new business which needs human capital in Seed stage are different from the members in start-up stage and new business in the beginning, its needs team members to coordinate. The performance is better when the level of mutual trust is higher. New business corporate venture followed the parent company’s rules, (1) new business organizational structure is small, (2) cross-industry, area development showing the fitness of the rules and regulations between of new business venture and parent company. New business that parent company created needs high amount of capital or not, the parent company know the ideas about cross-area new business or not ,the parent company trust the new business corporate venture team leaders or not, the new business corporate venture team control the key partners, core technology or not, all affect the level of autonomy. The team leader's leadership style or the parent company's corporate culture affect the level of empowerment. The team member worked together become familiar. The team familiar affect the building of trust. The level of team trust affects level of empowerment. Parent company provide different amount capital in the different stage. The products and services offered by the new business whether to compete in the market affect performance. The six characteristics and other factors affect the new business performance.
