Recently, Viet Nam has become one of the most attractive countries to the foreign investors. Among investing countries, Taiwan is on top of the list in both the number of projects and the total invested capital. A majority of Taiwanese-invested companies are medium to large enterprises and there is a shortage of mid –level managers who will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of local workers. Realizing problem encountered between Taiwan executive and the Vietnamese labor, the Taiwanese government encourages Universities to develop projects to produce mid-level Vietnamese managers for Taiwanese oversea companies. Further, Taiwanese Government initiated a Master Program for Vietnamese students to foster future Vietnamese mid-level manager and to bridge the gap between Taiwanese executives and Vietnamese labors. The program is called “The Industrial Technology R&;D Master Program” Based on the case study of this program, the purpose of this study is to understand the influence of communication in international collaborative project with three-folds: (1) Identifying factors influence on communication in the international collaborative projects; (2) Evaluating the effectiveness of the project on communication aspect; (3) Comment on improving the communication of participants within the project as a whole. The result of this research and the lesson learned can assist the success of the future international collaborative project.
