隨著全國人民結構的改變,台灣已邁入高齡化社會,老年人口也逐漸增加,因此注重老人的生活品質與安全性是有必要的。而隨著老年人老化身體功能逐漸退化,跌倒造成老人意外死亡,已成為一個不可忽視的問題。關於跌倒的預防與搶救,在近年來的研究上已成為一個注目的話題。本論文提出一套無線室內外定位跌倒偵測系統,結合了GPS(Global Positioning System,GPS ) 及Wi-Fi、ECG( Electrocardiography,ECG 或者EKG)各種功能。
在此篇論文中我們在Linux系統結合了GPS與Wi-Fi來實現跌倒偵測功能,並利用紀錄的ECG訊息來增加系統的準確度。讓使用者不管在室內或是室外行動時,都能記錄使用者訊息,並透過運算,在使用者發生跌倒時,可以立即偵測,將記錄的所在位置,傳送至伺服器。
本系統的特色是能迅速偵測使用者是否跌倒,並且得知所在位置,並不侷限在室內或室外的空間,非常便利,且系統的敏感度(Sensitivity)室內可達約97.5%、室外可能可達96.7%。

With the changing of population construction, an aging society is showing up in Taiwan. Because of the increase of the old-age population, it is necessary to concern about their life quality as well as safety. It becomes a noteworthy question that the accidental death of the elderly caused by falling down increases as a result of their degenerating organ functions. In this paper, we build a complete set of seamless Indoor/Outdoor wireless fall detection system with localization, which contains the records of GPS, ECG and Wi-Fi information.
In this paper, we use Linux system to combine GPS and Wi-Fi to realize the function of fall detection, and make use of ECG records to increase the accuracy of the system. Users can record the user messages indoors or outdoors through the operator. When the user falls down, the system can immediately falls down, a d send the recording falling location to the server.
The characteristic of this system is that it can detect the location as soon as the user falls down, and get the location of the user at once. Moreover, the sensitivity of the system can run up to about 97.7% indoors, and about 96.7% outdoors.
