在無線區域網路(WLAN) 中, 為了提供較高的傳輸速率(data rate), 使用多輸入
多輸出(MIMO) 和正交分頻多工(OFDM) 調變技術。在高速移動的環境下, 信號受
到通道中multipath和Doppler的影響, 通道模型為time-variant fading channel。在本
篇論文中介紹Spatial channel model模擬MIMO 通道的方法, 並分析Spatial channel
model (SCM) 通道特性。預先編碼, 為一項能夠有效提升MIMO 系統傳輸可靠度之
技術; 根據論文中的4種挑選法則Minimum Singular Value Selection Criterion、Mean
Squared Error Selection Criterion (trace)、Mean Squared Error Selection Criterion (determinant)
和Capacity Selection Criterion 從編碼簿(codebook) 中挑選出最適合的碼
字(codeword) 當作預先編碼矩陣(precoding matrix) , 本論文將使用LTE-Advanced
下行鏈路的編碼簿在MIMO-OFDM 系統下進行模擬, 經由模擬的結果可知Spatial
channel model (SCM) 在接收端不同的移動速度下會有不同的通道振幅變化, 若接收
端移動的速度越快, 通道振幅變化將會越劇烈。而Power delay profile(PDP) 因為是
隨機產生的關係, 每次以蒙地卡羅法則模擬產生的路徑功率都不相同, 在相同模擬環
境下,Mean Squared Error Selection Criterion (trace)的性能表現最好, Capacity Selection
Criterion 的性能表現最差。
The multiple antennas and OFDM technologies are being considered as a possible
solution to provide high data rate for the high-throughput wireless local area network
(WLAN). Channel model is time-variant fading channel due to the multipath
and Doppler effects in high-mobility wireless environment. The spatial channel model
(SCM) used in the 3GPP LTE systemis studied in this thesis. Among the variousMIMO
techniques, the limited feedback precoding is the focus of this thesis. Four previous proposed
selection criteria, including Minimum Singular Value Selection Criterion、Mean
Squared Error Selection Criterion(Trace)、Mean Squared Error Selection Criterion (determinant)
and Capacity Selection Criterion are studied. The LTE-Advanced downlink
codebook is taken as the codebook in the studied precoded MIMO-OFDM system. Our
simulation results show that under the Spatial channel model (SCM) channel amplitude
varies with mobile speed. The faster the channel amplitude varies, the channel
is the more severe. Because Power delay profile is randomly generated, the power of
each path varies with different runs in the Monte Carlo simulations. The conclusion is
that code selection with Mean Squared Error Selection Criterion (trace) corresponds to
the best receiver performance, code selection with Capacity Selection Criterion corresponds
to the poorest receiver performance.
