現今台灣和俄羅斯托木斯克地區積極拓展合作關係，特別是在科技和貿易領域，因為該區域擁有豐富的教育及自然資源，提升台灣商界及科學界對於投資該區域的興趣，做為一提供台資投入的選項。 因此，本碩士論文集中在托木斯克地區的經濟分析和估計其要素禀賦及貿易模式，以幫助雙方找到新的合作點。
這些研究根據技術變化、資本的因素，以及該區域至目前為止所為人知的相對貿易優勢，主要基於兩個模型：柯布 - 道格拉斯生產函數 (Cobb-Douglas production function)和相對貿易優勢模型。

Nowadays Taiwan and Tomsk region of the Russian Federation actively develop mutual cooperation, especially in science and trade spheres. Taiwan business and scientific circles are very interested in this region as a place which is rich of educational and natural resources, but also as a place for the Taiwanese investments. Therefore this master thesis concentrates on the analysis of Tomsk region economy and estimations of its factors endowment and trade pattern in order to help both sides to find new points for cooperation. The estimations are mostly based on two models: Cobb-Douglas production function and Relative Trade Advantage model, due to which the contribution of technology changes (TFP) and capital, and the comparative trade advantage of the region have been revealed.
