近年來女性追求經濟自主的自覺與呼聲與日俱增,加上全球產業結構的變遷、資訊科技的革新、教育程度的提升等,女性創業議題在全球各地形成了一股風潮。由於社會網絡在台灣社會有其重要影響,因此本研究探討女性創業者如何以社會網絡關係發掘或形塑其創業動機與機會,此外,本文更進一步從鑲嵌的角度,探討女性創業者如何以鑲嵌行為營建其社會網絡及其對創業績效之影響。
本研究採質性的訪談進行研究,從五位個案訪談分析中發現:第一、女性創業者會藉由社會網絡,發掘相關創業機會,作為自身創業動機的來源。第二,女性創業者其關係性鑲嵌的信任程度愈高,則網絡成員在活動上或資源上的交易或合作的內容會較多,而若其結構性鑲嵌的網絡位置愈高,則網絡成員間彼此互換的資訊意願也較高。第三,女性創業者透過社會網絡,對新創事業的發展有正面影響,進而提高企業的經營績效。期望透過本研究發現,能夠給女性創業者一些實務建議,讓女性創業者瞭解經營社會網絡關係對其創業之重要性,助其新創事業之永續經營。
In recent years, an awareness of females’ pursuing economic independence accompanied with the change of global industrial structure, innovation of information technology, and enhancement of educational level, etc. has resulted in a wave of female topics over the world. Given the significant influence of social networks on Taiwanese society, this research discusses how female entrepreneurs discover and form the entrepreneurial motivation and opportunity through social network relationship, and further, how female entrepreneurs establish social networks and how social networks affect the entrepreneurial performance from the aspect of embeddedness behavior.
A qualitative interview is adopted in this research. The interview analysis of the 5 female entrepreneurs yields the following results. Firstly, a female enterpriser finds out the related entrepreneurial opportunities through social networks as the source of self-entrepreneurial motivation. Secondly, when the confidence of a female enterpriser’s relative embeddedness is higher, the interaction or cooperation of the network members on activities or resources will be greater. When the network location of its structural embeddedness is higher, the intentions of information exchange between network members will be greater, too. Thirdly, social networks used by the female enterpriser can result in a positive influence on the development of new enterprise to enhance the merit of the entrepreneurial performance. The study is expected to provide some practical advices for female entrepreneurs, so that the female entrepreneurs can understand how to mange the relationship of social networks and run an enterprise for a sustainable development of the new enterprise.
