Binh Phuoc province has approved the master plan tourism development in period 2010-2015 and orientations to 2020. In planning this development-oriented tourism is key to the province's ecotourism. However the lack of planning for environmental protection measures aimed at sustainable development of ecotourism Bu Gia Map.
The exploitation of tourism resources inevitably make resources and environmental wear and tear, gradual deterioration and depletion. Typically, the impact of tourist activities to the resources and the environment in two forms: Reduces the size of resources and eco-tourism environment: Making the resources and the environment shrinking; Reducing substances resources and environmental quality, and if mining is not reasonable to distort the natural resources and environment. But, the rational exploitation of tourism activities will enhance the value of ecotourism resources. Therefore the rational exploitation is a prerequisite to protect environmental resources and ecotourism.
Before developing a new ecotourism project, the experts of sociology, environmental science, culture, economics and other fields should conduct a comprehensive and scientific demonstration. Finally, the planning can be implemented only after the approval of relevant departments. And environmental impact assessment system of ecotourism resources’ exploiting should be set up. Only the project which does not cause harm to local ecological system and landscape after assessed and must be permitted by executive authorities, can be exploited. Establish examination and approval system and monitoring system of ecotourism projects, so as to make examination and approval on eco-tourism project, inspect periodic these ecotourism resources; establish a strict mechanism for trade access, so as to be required for different scale of eco-tourism projects and have the appropriate qualifications of the developers for the development; assess aptitude of its ecotourism resources development regularly.
