本文主要研究醫院治理機制與醫院治理績效之因果關係的探討,並將治理機制彙整分成三大功能,分別是「溝通」、「激勵」和「內部控制」,並進而探討變數間所存在之因果關係的強弱,以期瞭解應注重之治理機制功能,進而達到治理績效之目標。除此之外,並加入「信任」變項為調節變數,探討期調效果,期以讓整體研究更臻完備。
醫院組織分為營利以及非營利組織,但是在台灣醫院都是屬於非營利組織,應該將其提供之醫療服務品質至於優先順位,而追求之經營績效,當然也包括醫療品質的提升與維護,而如何將醫院提升到高品質、高績效的等級,需依靠醫院治理機制有效率的運行。
本文以「醫院治理」為主題,所以研究對象主要針對台灣地區醫院的高階主管,一方面藉由高階主管之角度調查醫院內部治理情況,另一方面期望根據此研究結果能對醫院高階管理者有所貢獻,讓醫院高階管理者可瞭解應注重之治理機制,以期讓醫院有更好的醫療品質及更高的治理績效。

The subject of this research is “The effect of communication、motivation
and internal control of hospital governance to hospital governance performance”, and classifying the governance functions into three category. The three categories are “communication”、”motivation” and “internal control”, and finding out the relation between variables. In this way , we can know which variables should be valued, and attaching the goal of governance. In addition, the research added “trust” as a moderator variable, whereby I try to find the effect caused by the variables, weather it plays a significant characteristic in strengthening the relation between all independent and dependant variables.
The hospitals are divided into two categories, which are for-profit hospitals and non-profit hospitals. Because the hospitals in Taiwan are all non-profit ones, hospitals should put the “quality of care” in the first place. And the governance performance also includes quality of care improvement.
The survey subjects of this research are executives of hospital in Taiwan. On the one hand, we can know much more about the operation of hospital by executives’ opinion, on the other hand, hoping this research will make some contribution for hospital governance and helping the executives for operating hospitals.
