More and more Eastern country’s companies have good performance in oversea markets. Thus, more and more researchers start to study how Eastern thoughts affect firm’s performance, so this study tries to understand how Confucian thoughts affect the performance of latecomer firms.
In this research, we discuss the relationship between the 1.Degree of Internationalization (DOI) 2.Network relationship and latecomer firms’ performance. Moreover, we add Confucian five virtues : “Benevolence”,” Justice” , “Courtesy” , “Wisdom” , and ”Trust” to test their mediating & moderating effects.
In this study, the High-Tech firms in Taiwan are used as research objects.
We both gather questionnaire and secondary data to confirm our research hypotheses. 91 questionnaires are used in my research samples.
The empirical results indicate that the degree of internationalization and network relationship have positive impacts on firm performance. In addition, “Benevolence” &”Policteness” have mediating effects and ” Justice”& ”Trust” have moderating effects on the relationship between DOI and firm performance. “Benevolence”, “Wisdom” and “Fidelity” have mediating effects on the relationship between network and firm performance.
