本研究之主要目的如下:(一)探討國中生自尊、求助行為、學業成就三者間彼此的關係;(二)探討國中生復原力、自尊、求助行為三者間彼此的關係;(三)探討國中生復原力、求助行為、學業成就三者間彼此的關係;(四)探討國中生復原力、自尊、學業成就三者間彼此的關係;及(五)根據研究結果提出具體建議,作為國中教學、輔導及未來之參考。
本研究抽取大台南市國中生二年級學生共578人,作為本研究之研究樣本。研究工具包括青少年復原力量表、求助行為量表及自尊量表,學業成就以100學年度下學期第一次段考的國語、數學及英語為依據。為取得研究結果,本研究所蒐集的觀察資料將以平均數差異考驗單(t-test)、多變項變異數分析(MANOVA)、結構方程模式(structural equation modeling, SEM)進行分析。
研究結果顯示:(一)自尊對於學業成就沒有顯著的預測力,但自尊對於求助行為有直接效果,即高自尊者較不傾向逃避求助,且自尊可以透過求助行為,對於學業成就有間接效果;(二)自尊對於復原力有直接效果;(三)復原力對學業成就沒有顯著的直接效果,但復原力可透過求助行為對於學業成就,產生間接效果,即具復原力的學生可透過求助行為,間接影響其學業成就;及(四)自尊可透過復原力、求助行為,對於學業成就達到間接效果。

The main purposes of this study were to explore the relationships among self-esteem, resilience, help-seeking and academic achievement of junior high school students. Based on the findings in this research, suggestions for junior high school teaching, educational guidance and further studies were proposed.
Participants for this study consisted of 578 students currently in the 2nd grade of junior year at public junior high school in Tainan city. The instruments used in this study included Inventory of Adolescents Resilience, Academic Help-seeking Behavior Scale and Self-esteem Scale. Academic achievement is recorded by students personally according to Chinese ,Math and English scores in the 1st sectional exam of 2nd semester in 2011. The statistical methods used to analyze the data were t-test, one-way MANOVA, structural equation modeling(SEM).
The results of this study were summarized as follows:(1)Self-esteem can’t significantly predict academic achievement, but has direct effect to help-seeking. (2)Self-esteem can significantly predict resilience.(3)Resilience can’t have direct effect on academic achievement, but has indirect effect through help-seeking.(4)Self-esteem has indirect effect on academic achievement through resilience and help-seeking.
