印尼是東南亞的開發中國家,已經成功採用3G行動服務。印尼算是群島國家,各地區有不同的3G行動服務採用影響因素。本篇研究目的的在於分析印尼3G行動服務採用影響因素,由從印尼各地區間比較,延伸到印尼跟東南亞其他國家來比較。此篇研究找出對於印尼3G行動服務發展影響因素的實證分析。本研究利用多元回歸分析還有追蹤資料回歸分析的方法論。研究結果發現,電信業者數量,3G基礎設施,3G服務價格,跟固定網絡就是影響印尼3G行動服務影響顯著因素。另外,人口戶數,國內生產總值及各地區生產總值,建設和促進基礎設施,固定網路用戶數就是影響印尼各地區間及各東南亞國家3G行動服務的顯著因素。
Although Indonesia is a developing country, its 3G mobile service have been deployed pervasively with 92% subscriptions rate. The study collects 3G mobile service statistical data and information to figure out which factors affect mobile service adoptions. In addition, unlike neighborhood countries, Indonesia is a demographic country with great variety from its geographical factors and culture among myriad islands. Therefore, this research analyzes not only impact factors that affecting the development of adoption of 3G mobile service among different main islands of Indonesia but also its neighborhood South East Asian countries.
The research selects seven areas in Indonesia and collects data from 2005 to 2010 for studying domestic affecting factors. Besides, it also chooses four South-East Asia countries and collects data from 2000 to 2010 for country-wide comparison. The analysis adopts multivariate regression and panel data analysis to investigate significant factors of 3G service adoption. The analysis outcome indicates Indonesia stays in growth stage of 3G service development period. Number of mobile operators, 3G network infrastructures, mobile service tariff price, and fixed Internet sector influences are significant factors affecting the 3G service adoptions in Indonesia. GDP and GRP, population density, wired and building facility infrastructures are the significant factors can affect the 3G service adoption in cross-areas and cross-countries.
