資訊科技(Information Technology)的進步配合著網際網路(Internet)的興起,人們的生活形態以及訊息接收的方式產生了劇烈的改變,現代人除了可以透過電視、報紙、百科全書等傳統媒體單向的取得資訊以及知識外,網路速度的提升,更是促進資訊與知識流動、傳播的一大助力,這些改變使得資訊和知識如同空氣一般隨手可得;然而,在這個資訊爆炸的時代(Information Explosion Era)裡,太多的工具、資訊來源能用來找尋問題的解決方法,大量的資訊反而讓使用者在面對多樣化的資訊時造成困惑,難以獲取真正能夠解決問題之資訊。

近年來行動裝置(Mobile Device)的功能愈來愈強大但外型却愈輕薄短小,以及無線通訊(Wireless)技術、定位技術(Positioning Technology)及適地性服務(Location-based Service)的成熟發展,造就了許多創新服務,亦讓資訊的提供更貼近使用者的需求,因此,在觀察到過量資訊造成真正的需求難以被聚集的研究背景之下,本研究之研究動機是希望能在資訊過量的時代裡,適時、適地,透過合適的方式呈現合適的資訊給使用者,並以“結合不同的服務元素使其多樣化”、“確保能健全開發M化服務”及“建構具位置感知延伸知識獲取系統”作為本研究之研究目的。因此,本研究將於第參章結合“服務與科技”、“LBS”與“e-Service”三個構面,提出M-Service之發展基礎,實踐研究目的一,在此基礎之下,提出M-Service之發展基礎實踐研究目的二,並於第伍章進行案例實作來實踐本研究之研究目的三-建構具位置感知延伸知識獲取系統,讓使用者能在任何地點廣泛的接收合適的資訊。且本研究觀察到許多產業已漸漸將服務視為其發展重心,因此本研究在進行系統開發前,除了會對e-Service、LBS相關領域進行資料彙整,歸納出本研究系統之實踐標的外,亦會融入“服務設計”的概念,以服務藍圖結合腳本敘述,呈現位置感知延伸知識獲取服務之設計理念以及運作過程,並事先設想服務進行時可能發生的錯誤並避免之,以提升使用者之滿意度。
The progress of information technology along with the rise of the Internet changes people’s life substantially, especially in the way to receive information. People can not only receive information through traditional ways, e.g. television, newspaper, encyclopedia etc., but also receive information from Internet. The upgraded speed of the Internet promotes information and knowledge sharing. Nevertheless, the flip side of convenience is that people have too many ways to gain information. A variety of information confuse users to focus on the particular information which they really need.

Stronger mobile devices, slim shape design, well developed wireless and positioning technology, LBS enrich many innovative applications. It also makes information close to user''s requirements. Thus, our research motivation is to provide the appropriate information in the right time at right place to users in this information explosion era. Our research combines “Service and Technology”, “LBS” and “e-Service” to generate a conceptual method to develop M-Service, in case M-Service can be developed well. Our research also develop “Location Awareness Extended Knowledge Gain Service” to achieve our research goal based on this conceptual method in chapter 5. Besides, our research notice many industries pay more attention to “service”. Therefore, integrating the concept of “service design” into our research is necessary. Above all, our research will gather related literature about “e-Service” and “LBS”, and generalize the objectives which our system have to achieve. Our research also uses “service blueprint” and “script of scenario” as our research tools to detail our service. We try to find to make mistakes, and finally to enhance users’ satisfaction.
