This study observed the changes on grill, hepatopancreas, and midgut while shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) exposed to copper (0.5 and 1 ppm) and zinc (0.5 and 1 ppm) environment with exposure time (1, 2 and 5 days).
The results show the grill and hepatopancreas had significant damage while shrimps exposed at the copper solution. The shrimps exposed at the zinc solution, the midgut had significant damage than the other tissues. But shrimp exposed at solution that combined with copper and zinc, the tissues damages were significant lower than individual copper or zinc solution.
White shrimps exposed at the solution that combined with copper and zinc after exposure time. The tissue damages were lower than individual copper or zinc solution. This result was conjectured the interaction between copper and zinc, and reduced the tissue damages in shrimp.
