Structure orientation toward the wind direction is the most critical problem to be considered. In some cases, site design has been initially determined due to the plan area or the urban artistic, and if the wind blow in a strong directionality that would become a failure for the building. This research presents the sensitivity of the structural orientation and takes the case study of CAARC Building located on Taipei. Response base moment from wind tunnel test data in a function of natural wind direction angle could be transformed into structural responses such as top story acceleration and displacement for x and y axis component. The structural response depends on the building performance. The structure response could be very sensitive to the structural orientation. Besides that it also describes the effect when structural orientation changed a bit, it would decrease or increase the effect of building.
