現有科技改變社交模式,社群網站成為人類生活不可或缺的一部分,訊息的傳遞突破時間與空間,並緊密與人類連結,社交方式則更為便利、有效率以及更加多元化。回應人機介面朝向動覺階段發展,本研究探討動作作用於實體上,啟動社群網站對使用者經驗的影響。不管是情感的聯繫、資訊的交流、訊息的傳遞,現有的社交方式已改變人的感官體驗。透過文化探針請參與者記錄在虛擬空間-FACEBOOK之社交互動,經由回測的資料作訪談的依據,探討人們如何在社群網站達到互動,分析並歸納社群網站的社交互動。並透過三個設計實作「DING DONG」、「DIAL」、「KNOCK」加入實體與社交達到體現互動讓參與者進行體驗,訪談參與者在虛擬互動與實體互動上之心理感受與經驗分享。體驗結果指出實體互動增加參與者正面的心理感受,參與者將自我情感投射於實體物件上,隨機問候則增加與社群朋友的遇然相遇,帶來新的社交方式,開展更豐富的社交體驗。
Technology has changed the way we socialize with others; social networks have also become an indispensible part of our daily lives. The transfer of message is no longer limited by space and time; it has become tightly connected with people. The way of social interaction has become even more convenient, efficient and diverse. As Human Computer Interaction moves towards increasing emphasis on movement, this work studies how the impact of movement on tangible objects can trigger users’ social network experiences. Relating to emotional ties, information exchange and message transfer, this new way of socializing has changed the way we feel and sense this world. Exploiting the culture probe method, we have asked users to record their social interaction in the virtual world, e.g., Facebook, and performed interviews based on the user-logged data. From these data, we have explored how people interact on the Internet as well as analyzed and summarized social network interactions. Three design implementations, “Ding Dong”, “Dial” and “Knock” are realizations of tangible and social interaction. User studies were conducted based on these designs; users shared their emotions and experiences based on both virtual and tangible interaction. Study results have shown that tangible interaction has a positive effect on the participants’ emotions. Participants project their emotions on tangible objects and random greetings increase the sense of serendipity among social network friends. These designs have not only explored new ways of social interaction, but also opened possibilities to enrich social experiences.
