擴增實境是個能夠將虛擬與真實兩者共存的技術,藉由視訊設備的讀取將影像標籤讀入,經過辨識之後將虛擬物件與現實環境相互結合,最終呈現於影像之中。近年來擴增實境的技術受到了相當的關注,不論是應用在教育、娛樂、藝術、展示等方面皆有越來越成熟的趨勢。但是,仍有多數的應用仍須依靠傳統的標籤作為辨識的媒介,這樣使得標籤的應用方式會有所限制並且缺少變化。
本碩士論文提出兩種標籤辨識的方法:色彩辨識與角度辨識。當攝影機讀取到標籤時,便會分析影像中標籤的顏色資訊,由這些資訊即可取得標籤所對應的虛擬物件,使不同顏色的標籤可獲得不同的結果;而角度辨識主要是為了能夠辨識標籤於影像中所呈現的形式,根據標籤所擺放的方向取得各個角度所連結的虛擬模組。本研究以開放原始碼 (Open Source) 的擴增實境函式庫NyARToolKit 做為開發基礎,將上述兩種辨識型態新增至原本擴增實境的辨識流程;使標籤的辨識不僅止於圖案輪廓辨識,亦能由豐富的色彩取代黑白的傳統標籤,並利用標籤擺放的變化提升了標籤的使用性與互動性,進而成為不同型態的辨識標籤。
Augmented reality technology combines virtual and real world environment where virtual objects are superimposed on the real world. In AR system, the data link of virtual objects is stored in AR tags so that we can use the video capture to read the AR tags for virtual objects identification and recognition. In recently years, AR techniques are popular been discussed and applied to anywhere such as education, entertainment, art and etc. Because, the traditional markers of AR tags has the limited of tags identification. Therefore, we proposed our augmented reality markers design based on color and angle identification.
Our proposed scheme uses two kinds of features in the AR tags: color and angle. The computer analyzes the color information in the image and then retrieved the corresponding virtual object from the objects database. For that, we can use different color combinations in AR tags to represent different virtual objects. Besides, the rotation angle is also adopted in our markers design. With different rotation angle, we can map different virtual objects. In this study, we use the open source of NyARToolKit library to develop our system. The proposed scheme applied color and angle as the features to recognize the marker tags.
