隨著節能減碳環保議題持續發酵，耗電極低、具有替代印刷品功能、並能減少紙張用量的電子紙重要性也跟著顯現。雖然台灣廠商掌有電子紙的技術，促成台灣為電子紙產業中心；但在日、韓兩國的面板大廠不斷開發與改良新技術的壓力下，台灣電子紙產業要如何因應是個非常重要的問題。欲探討此問題，則須瞭解台灣在產業的競爭力以及所面臨的主客觀環境，才能擬出有效的發展策略。

基於此，本文主要目的為分析台灣電子紙產業的競爭力，並由此擬出發展該產業的策略並發掘未來發展的潛力。本文以台灣電子紙產業為主要分析對象，先用SCP勾勒整體產業與市場現況，佐以鑽石模型比較主要國家電子紙產業的優劣、再以SWOT分析找出台灣的發展策略以及政府與企業所扮演的角色，並期待以此結果，提出有助於台灣電子紙業發展之具體建言。

With the environmental issues of carbon reduction continue to ferment, the extremely low power consumption, and alternative way to reduce paper consumption, the importance of e-paper is apparent. Although Taiwanese companies grap some electronic paper technology and become the center of e-paper industry. Under the pressure of panel makers in Japan, China and South Korea updating new technologies countinuously, how to cope with the challenge is very important in Taiwan’s e-paper industry. To explore this issue, understanding Taiwan's competitiveness in the industry and the objective and subjective environment which the industry faces, shall be helpful to draw up an effective development strategy.

Based on this, the main purpose of the paper is to analyze of the competitiveness of Taiwan's e-paper industry, and to prepare a strategy for developing the industry and exploring the potential development for the future. We adopt the SCP model to outline the overall industry and current market conditions, combine with the pros and cons of the Diamond model to compare electronic paper industry among the major countries, and use a SWOT analysis to identify the development strategy as well as the role of government and corporate. We look forward to utilize this result to put concrete suggestions for helping the development of Taiwan's e-Paper.
