近年來企業運用「商業智慧」做為企業營運分析管理、決策支援管理、決策效應推估,並能快速反應企業內部營運的關鍵性指標,強化企業決策的速度與品質,讓企業對於現在、過去、未來的狀況皆能做有效的控管,是協助管理者迅速制定正確決策的基礎與最佳後援。然而,商業智慧系統之導入不僅費時、需要投資大量成本、而且風險性高。同時導入商業智慧系統是有些先決條件必需要具備,包括高階主管的支持、組織的資訊化程度、組織的技術複雜程度、資料的品質、現存決策支援環境等因素,都會影響其成敗及永續發展,所以許多企業不敢冒然投入。
本研究主題即在探討商業智慧系統對企業經營績效在財務構面、顧客構面、企業內部流程構面、學習與成長構面所產生的影響。首先透過文獻整理、專家問卷調查結果做理論與實務相互佐證。接著針對專家問卷調查結果選其較顯著的衡量項目,利用個案公司在商業智慧系統的應用做系統功能面、企業流程面及系統設計與建置方法做說明。希望透過本研究,協助企業提高商業智慧系統建置的成功機率與投資效益評估參考,這是提出本研究的最大期望與貢獻。


In recent years, enterprises make use of business intelligence (BI) in operational analysis, decision support and decision effect estimation. As a key index promptly reflecting inner operation in the business, BI can improve the speed and quality of decision making and enable the enterprise to effectively control past, current and future condition. While BI is the foundation and best backup of fast and correct decision making, its induction is costly, time consuming, and risky. Meanwhile, there are some prerequisites for BI induction, including support from executives, degree of information application and technical complexity in the organization, quality of data, and the present decision support environment. These factors may effect the success and failure, and the sustainable development of BI; hence many corporations hesitate to invest in BI.

This thesis aimed to investigate the effect of BI system on four aspects of business performance: financial aspect, customer aspect, process aspect, and learning and growth aspect. We reviewed past literature and did expert survey. According to the results of expert survey, application of BI system was discussed in a case study from different aspects, including system function, business process and system design and implementation. Hopefully through this thesis we could assist the enterprise to increase the success rate of BI system implementation and provide reference materials for investment benefit evaluation.
