Economy and politics are two seemingly independent but mutual influence individuals, and these two factors would affect the country whether strong or not. Kazakhstan is wealth of natural resources, which attract the attention of world’s powers; especially the oil and gas resources are hot investment targets. As an energy-importing country, China also participates in the Kazakhstan oil and gas resource competition. This research not only probe into the natural resources of Kazakhstan, also evaluate the case of hydrocarbon competition between China and other competitor. Thronging Porter''s Diamond theory analyzed how China and Kazakhstan affected economic investment results by political action.
