本論文之目的係實作一個數位電視牆系統,此系統期望能夠不受特定的平台作業系統及專屬硬體上的限制,意即得將所有一般用途的個人電腦主機、筆記型電腦或智慧型行動裝置的畫面顯示在本系統上,且本系統可以架構在任何一種分散的平台上而組成一個較大的畫面。在技術方面,本系統會建立一個伺服器,伺服器會將伺服器管理者所選擇的畫面播放到利用網路架構的數位電視牆上,使用者可以透過電視牆所提供的控制方式來控制伺服器所呈現的內容。而此電視牆的架構屏除了原本利用硬體將畫面切割後送出的架構,改採用軟體切割後把資料傳送到分散式架構之嵌入式板上,以降低硬體的建置成本。而在軟體建置上,本系統的應用程式皆使用跨平台且開放原始碼的自由軟體為基礎,不僅節省成本,更可在不同平台間溝通並使用。
The objective of this thesis is to implement a tiled display system. We expect that this system can work on personal computer, laptop or smart mobile devices to construct a large-format display without limited to the specific of platform and hardware. In the case of implementation techniques, this system would establish a set of server, and this server can transmit current image chosen by the manager of this server to the display system that combined with embedded systems on the net. Besides, front users can use control function with remote to control the source window. In the case of software development, this system composed with cross platform and open source projects. It is not only low-cost but also cross platform.
