依據IMTJ（International Medical Tourism Journal）2011年articles 「The top medical tourism destinations for 2012」一文中指出，未來病患入境接受治療的主要考量因素，將會以專業醫師、最新、最好的醫療設備、優良的渡假飯店、語言、文化、價格以及具有國際認證的醫院為參考指標，以進一步選取自己較為理想及適當的醫療旅遊地點。為有效了解台灣特色強項 - 口腔國際觀光醫療旅遊相對其它國家優劣勢，本研究將以台灣為主要分析標的，以SWOT分析及STP行銷策略進行探討，並根據上述探討內容，擬定4P行銷策略，藉此汲取他國醫療旅遊發展之經驗，提出適當行銷建議以逐步改善我國口腔觀光醫療旅遊的發展。

According to IMTJ (International Medical Tourism Journal, 2011) "The top medical tourism destinations for 2012", the article pointed out, the main considerations for future patients Immigration treated, will be : a professional physician, the latest, the best medical equipment, excellent resort hotels, language, culture, and prices as well as with international certification of hospitals to select their ideal and appropriate medical tourist destination.

For well understanding of the characteristic strengths of Taiwan medical trourism- Dental medical tourism. By SWOT and STP analysis, we try to figure out appropriate 4P (Product, Price, Place and Promotion) marketing strategy for developing future dental medical tourism in Taiwan.
