論文摘要內容:

本研究旨在探討台灣上市公司女性董事對公司績效之影響,主要是以2007年至2011年共5年,台灣證券交易所掛牌上市公司作為研究對象,取得2524家上市公司做為樣本,研究女性董事比率、女性董事專業證照資格水準和女性董事教育水平,對公司績效的影響。

本研究實證發現如下:

(1)女性董事比率與公司績效呈現負向顯著關係
(2)女性董事專業資格與公司績效呈現正向顯著關係
(3)女性董事教育水平與公司績效呈現負向顯著關係

The contents of abstract in this thesis:

The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of female directors on firm performance for listed companies on the Taiwan Stock Exchange for the period of 2007 to 2011. The samples consist of 2,524 listed companies. Three variables, namely ratio of female directors, professional qualification of female directors and educational level of female directors were examined to explore their impact on firm performance.

The results are shown as follows:
(1)There is a significantly negative relationship between the ratio of female directors and firm performance

(2)There is a significantly positive relationship between the professional qualification of female directors and firm performance.

(3)There is a significantly negative relationship between the educational level of female directors and firm performance
